Lesson 2--4/1/2008
i wasnt as enthusiastic as my first driving lesson...in fact, i kinda don't want to go already...i think this is called "3 minutes heat"....hahahahaha...today i learnt parking...which left me drenched in sweat(seriously!! i don't know whether the sweat is from the heat of the sun or because of nervousness and desperation) and devoid of any feeling in my left foot..
i knew parking would be hard...and it definitely proved to be hard...goodness, even i cant stand my "dense-ness" at it...who could blame the teacher? not that she lost her temper with me...but then i think her vague instructions might be one of the cause also...hahahaha...she also cannot differentiate her left and right sometimes lor...my initial problem was still the clutch...keep "die fire" in my attempt to park the car...then it was due to my inability to remember the steps...what turn full left, make tyre straight then turn 90 degree lagi...combined with my nervousness and exasperation at myself...oh oh...at first i don't know how to see my tyre is straight...the tyre is covered by the car body ma...plus i don't know why i seem to find it hard to lean out of the window to look outside at the tyres or road..seems like there is a distance between me and the driving window...sigh...
the worst part was side parking..it was a nightmare!! i keep forgetting the procedures...and the teacher isnt helping at all...cause sometimes when i m at a lost of what to do next...she sits in the shade, a distance from me, eating snacks and chatting to other teachers...without paying attention to me...i cant grab her attention so resulting in me sitting there stupidly until she notice i m not moving and shout instructions to me...which i cant hear clearly because she is a distance from me...
2 hrs of lesson gone just like that...she said next lesson practise more on parking...and i really really hope that i can still remember how to park!! is there any way i can practise? who can magically produce one toyota echo complete with aircon and parking space complete with all the marker poles?? oh...and if i manage to get the hang of parking...i might just move on to balancing already..aint it fast?? but then...i only got 7 more hours...so maybe that's kinda slow already...
sigh...dreading the next lesson...which is this tuesday
