i should blog, it's been a long time since i last blogged. but somehow after exams ended i seemed busier? kept going out, almost everyday since exams ended on 1st dec, and will keep going out until before i fly off on the 6th dec.
i think post exams period is the only period i enjoy during the semester, hahahaha....
shan't say much about exams, what's there to say anyway? except it's stressful? during revision week i've been sleeping at ungodly hours like 3am and waking up at 7am. i know there are a lot others who slept at even more ungod-lier hours (eg. SY), but 3am is like a first for me, i wasn't even that crazy last semester. but then again, last semester i only had 2 core papers and 2 non-examinable modules, and the core papers were spaced a week apart, so i had ample time to prepare for them. this semester i've got 2 papers on the same day itself, which is another first! i was quite psyched when exam period started, keep telling myself "6 papers so what? it'll be over soon..." after the 3rd paper i was slipping into a state of demotivation and depression. felt very restless and did not want to study anymore. it was even worse when you know that most people have only one paper left when i have 3 more to go. and then when left the last 2 papers, i m totally in this "heck care" state and started to dream about post exams activities, even if i tried to read also cannot focus. and and, i sort of went crazy during my last paper. it was calculus paper, and one of the problems i couldn't solve (it involves simultaneous equations btw) and i spent last half an hour trying to work it out. when the lecturer announced that we only have 15min left, i am overcome by this insane urge to laugh out loud. if i really did, it will be crazed laughter i tell you. half of me was panicking cause i didn't know how to solve it, simultaneous eqn leh...another half is happy that in 15min everything will be over!! in the end i wrote in pencil "cannot solve hence no solution?" in the answer space provided.
ahh...i take back what i said about nothing much to say about exams, hahaha...the last paragraph doesn't seem to be "nothing much"..ah well, after the last paper, my coursemates and i went to have western meal at megabites (had grilled fish with vege and fries: a bit disappointed, felt like a rabbit cos they give only carrots=='') then went on to have dessert at munchie monkey. hanged out till 10 plus only then went back to hostel.
the highlight of the next day is xiaolongbao and steamboat buffet!! met up for lunch with amilyn before heading off to bugis for shopping! bought self a tank top. amilyn makes a good salesperson.
*keeps getting distracted by the favour i m doing for SY at the moment. i keep forget what i wanted to blog next*
stuffed myself silly during the buffet lah! hahahaaha...don't remember how many "long" of xiaolongbao we ordered. i just remember i keep eating and eating and eating *slurps* the steamboat soup taste quite bland though, but the pork slices were awesome! for some reason the people i dined with that night seems to love fungi aka mushrooms a lot. after buffet, amilyn and her friends went to watch a late night movie at vivo, whereas the rest of us went back and me being very guai, started to pack!
am pleased with packing progress, though i dislike packing. this afternoon my coursemates and i went all the way to tampines to shop! and we got ourselves free starbucks! technically not free la since we donated $2 each..but $2 starbucks still makes me happy! caramel frappucino was just..sweet...dark cherry mocha is good!!! no wonder people turn to retail therapy, i feel high myself after making a purchase. hahahaha...more shopping tomorrow!
tomorrow will be another outing, this time with SY...places to go? clarke quay-bugis-plaza sg-orchard
bz day ahead!!
the day after tomorrow i'll be attending a makan fiesta, woohoo!! invited by bernard who will be making a mango cake? speaking of bernard, he charmed the socks of us girls off (he was the only guy among us) during the night of buffet. so gentlemen-ly and nice! hahahahaha...after makan fiesta then will be off to vivo city before coming back to move stuffs to storage space at raffles. then move back furniture in my room to their original position, sleep tight and off i fly back to miri!!
