weekend's over =(

had a sunday outing with sy yesterday. started off the outing with lunch at mcd, where sy treated me to a serving of this:

cause he was feeling generous. (thanks sy! i realised i haven't thanked you, lol..)

whereas he had this:

mc spicy (i think?) together with...a drink and a serving of twister fries too!

after that we went to west coast plaza, to get the contact lenses we bought last week...

where sy spent about half an hour learning how to poke himself in the eye...hahahaha....i didn't like the tone of the opto when she was teaching sy how to wear the lenses (cos he first time wearer..so must learn...), and i was telling sy if it were me i might just burst into tears from the frustration and self-hate, cause the opto makes me feel as if i m damn stupid for not being able to put the lenses in my eyes. ah, but all's well in the end, he managed to take out n put in all by himself (*pat pat*)

aiyah...dun have a photo of sy wearing the lenses...he wore grey color oh! lol..cos i bugged him into it as i wanted to see how grey looks like. btw, the contact lenses we bought were on promo, and he was able to get 2 colors cos both his eyes have the same degree, thus he took grey and brown, whereas i went with safe brown. (only one color for me cos my degree unequal)

anyway, i think sy was sort of in awe? maybe cos it was his first time, he kept giving me minute reports about the condition of his eyes,lol...and he suddenly became very vain...wanted to find mirror to look at himself...hahahahha...oh and not to mention he kept telling me to look at his eyes...hahahahaha....it was quite weird to see grey eyes at first but i sort of got used to it pretty quickly...hmm..sy u shud post a pic of urself with the lenses.

went to popular after that as sy wanted to buy some stationery...saw a recipe book on desserts and was quite xindong...after popular we set off for orchard.

first stop, ION orchard. and we had this :

sesame and almond shaved ice! i think i ll never get tired of this dessert shop.

walked around for a bit before heading off to 313@somerset since both of us have never been there before. and sy decided to take off his contact lenses cos he's only supposed to wear it for 2hrs the first day? (then gradually increase the time). so while he went to the toilet to "pinch" his eyeballs...i walked around and got myself this:

only mine was without the chocolate on top. i wanted to get these but thought it was too ex for $2 a piece:

walked around some more, but i wasn't really in the mood to shop because of the crowds. went into

and this caught my eye:

but was feeling frugal and didn't buy it. but i got myself a $7 turquoise tank top form forever 21. couldnt find any pics though.

sy bought boardshorts similar to this :

but in different color after seeing me splurge $175 on a fossil watch for my mom.

and on a bout of spontaneity we decided to dine in at marsche.

as pre-cny/cny/post-cny celebration. though the food is nice...but the price....let's just say i m puasa-ing this week. lol...

sy's food: roasted half chicken with mashed potatoes, salmon chowder with focaccia bread.

mine: caesar salad and belgium waffle with mangoes and tiramisu ice cream drizzled with caramel sauce.

it looks sort of weird here but it's yummy! the rest of the food we didn't manage to take photos.

*this has to be the longest i ever took to blog an entry.....

i was feeling quite tired after dinner, as observed by sy my unwillingness to talk/make convo. but we still 杀到

cos sy wanted to buy bedsheets. and i ended up buying 2 shirts for my dad. i m such a filial daughter....

and that ends my weekend outing this week. not surprisingly i was feeling a bit down because monday is a school day and it starts at bloody 8am. but i only went to sleep at around 2am after watching the new episode of 下一站幸福 on youtube...

guess next week i m going shopping again! hahaha...just skyped with my mom and she was showing off to me her shopping hauls from KL. i feel "challenged" by her....LOL
