Since today i got a lot of time to spare now(because i followed val by taxi to IMU early in the morning but my class only starts at 1.30 pm in the afternoon)so i decided to write this entry.
Actually we are planning to print the MUET form(an english test which is a compulsory for all malaysians studying in any university in Malaysia) in IMU but when we asked the Student Affairs Department(SAD), a woman in charge said it is not open for registration now yet..it will only be opened in january next year =.= while the test will be conducted in like May?
By the way, today is the only day in my schedule that i can come late to uni.T.T.
Anyways, my main purpose would be writing something about our orientation. So, first day we had briefings in the morning and more briefings in the afternoon. And we have been divided into fourteen groups. I was in Grp 12 while val was in Grp 14. Each group has four OOs(sorry, forgot what OO stands for, or rather i didnt know from the very start?=p i know the first O, it is Orientation...second one might have to ask val)which are our seniors. Each group is supposed to come up with a group name and a cheer. (My Group name is "The One" while val's is "The "x" gang") Then every group was given 3 eggs which we have to get signatures from the committee members who organised this orientation. Also, we were given a form(?) to ask for signatures from any seniors.
Second day, briefings again in the morning, then we started our orientation at 5 pm. We got changed and gathered at the atrium getting ready to go Bukit Jalil Park by walking since it is quite near from IMU (They were asking us to wear some old clothes that we feel like not wearing it anymore because we are going to get really dirty! But who are going to bring those clothes from Brunei?lol). So we really got very very dirty after the games because our seniors poured garlic water and flour on our heads and clothes..to make it worse..they even use chinese ink to draw our hands or any part where they find us "clean".
third day, it is about the same as the second day..just that the games we played are different.
fourth day, we had outings with the seniors. Each group can go to any place they want...for my group, we went to Mid Valley by taxis to watch hellboy(in my opinion,it sucks!=p) and were treated Mcdonald by our seniors. Actually we were not planning to watch that but many movies' tickets were sold out by the time we reached Mid Valley.(cos we couldnt find taxis!)
Val didnt go with her group that day but went to have lunch on the next day with her group instead.
On the fifth day, we were given an mtv(in advance) and we were assigned wth some dress code. Like, my group was given Fang shou by Energy and we have to dress like snow white and the seven dwarfs. Marks will be allocated for similarities between the props(clothes)we had. And guess what our group got the Best MTV performance Award!lol.
And the last day of our orientation, we had a grand finale. Each group have to choose two models to do catwalk. I was the model..tuiing..hahahah.
So i think that's all about it...maybe i will edit this entry if i remembered something interesting again!^^
i spent quite a sum of money for this orientation lor~~=p
**oh yea...only 20 people take up Nursing while there are 145 people taking pharmacy!!
i got some pictures for the orien..i think i will upload it if i find the time to do so :P
